What to Expect?
On your first visit, you and your therapist will sit down to discuss your symptoms, how these symptoms are impairing your every day life, and what your goals are for therapy. Your therapist will then perform various tests and measures to evaluate your condition and formulate a treatment plan specific to you and your goals. Your therapist will then educate you on your condition and prescribe you with specific exercises for you to perform to help you achieve your goals. Most conditions can be effectively treated through various individualized movement based exercises, however sometimes manual therapy or other modalities are utilized during treatment as well.
During subsequent therapy sessions your therapist will continue to re-evaluate your condition, adjust treatment as needed, and progress your exercise program to assure that you are progressing towards your goals effectively. Your therapist is always there for you to answer any questions or concerns you may have and help you get the most out of each treatment session.
